My previous android devices

As you can see, I still use many of those as game terminal on the plane to spare my phone battery, the reason being that their failure (battery, mike, screen, SIM card) prevents their use as a phone, but not for something else :-)

Huawei Y5
9.0
As my sunny second card started failing I had no choice but to upgrade. I don't like big screens but for the rest this fitted the bill at a very decent price.
2019=>today
Soyes 7 S (iPhone clone !)
6.0
Nice and small - but my eyes are not getting better so had to let it go; too bad, quite well done !!! :-<
I have since used it as game terminal; however I noticed it connects to a chinese server and download things, which I erased immediately. Until one day I didn't manage to erase, some commercial poped up on the screen and froze the phone forever, so
AVOID!
2018=>2021
MEDION LIFETAB P8311 (MD99763) Wifitablet 8"
5.0
Nice, good value for the price - and 32Gig internal! ! :-<
Used on the boat for navigation software

Sunny
Marshmallow (6.0)
Cheap, but for the price, not bad...
Second card started acting, still used as backup or for the odd app I don't want on my main phone
2017=>2024
Archos 40 Helium
5.1
Nice, but WiFi doesn't see 5Ghz band ! :-<
Internal charger stopped working just after warranty period. Still used as terminal for games thanks to my universal battery charger but not practical.
2016=>2023...
Samsung S4 Mini dual
4.2.2
Some minor annoyance: no LED, no auto-on. The screen died (black lines appeared) after 3 years.
2013=>(2016) still usable as 4G=>wifi routeur
SimValley SP80
Gingerbread
Excellent value! The microphone started acting, unfortunately.Then died, after some 5-6 years.
2007=>2022 Used as game terminal.
Samsung galaxy Centura
ICS
Bought when I was in the US. Sold now because CDMA
4.3' PoquetPad tabletI bought this for an experiment to split my phone and texting needs from the rest in a desperate attempt never to run out of phone batteries.Came back to phone. This tablet is the android equivalent of an ipad touch. I use it for games and browsing on the go.
Battery died completely
2010=>2020
a Yarvik 7' tablet
Eclair
Nice present from colleagues. Excellent for travel, very good battery life :-). Unfortunately fell and broke the screen. The unit still works, but since the touch screen is broken, I can't fully control it any more :-(. I use it for websurfing and book reading via the small trackball and watching movies on plane.
2011=>2023 (screen broken)
